About Us

The Spina Bifida Support Group Foundation, Inc., also known as A.N.A.K. Foundation, is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 in the Philippines. We are committed to providing support, resources, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by spina bifida, bladder exstrophy, and sexual differentiation. Our mission is to raise awareness, offer educational programs, and promote research to improve the lives of those living with spina bifida. We aim to offer assistance, resources, and guidance to individuals affected by Spina Bifida, as well as their loved ones, addressing problems such as hydrocephalus, seizures, weak legs, unusual feet shapes, uncontrolled urination, and bowel issues. Our organization is guided by the principles of promoting the welfare and improving the quality of life for affected children. The foundation provides support to Spina Bifida patients and their families, aiming to help guide these children to grow up to be independent and productive citizens in society. Spina Bifida, commonly known as 'Split Spine,' is a birth defect that affects the development of the spine and can cause various neurological and urological issues. Our goal is to address these challenges and support the affected individuals.

Our goal is to help guide these children to grow up to be independent and productive citizens in society.
